Studio Policies

At Amanda's Dance Center, we are committed to creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where every child can grow through dance. To help us provide the best experience for our students and families, please review our studio policies below.

Attendance & Punctuality

Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to class to allow time for shoes and preparation.
Consistent attendance is important for progress and recital preparation.
If your child will be absent, please notify the studio in advance when possible.

Dress Code

Proper dance attire is required for each class (leotard, tights, ballet/jazz shoes, etc. depending on the style).
Hair should be neatly secured away from the face (bun or ponytail).
No jewelry or gum in class for safety reasons.

Classroom Etiquette

Students are expected to listen, be respectful, and try their best.
Parents are welcome to observe via the lobby tv if your dancer is in class in the small room. We will also invite parents inside the studio on occasion to watch your dancers.
Positive encouragement is encouraged both inside and outside the classroom!

Safety & Supervision

Dancers must remain inside the studio until picked up by a parent/guardian.
Please pick up your child promptly at the end of class.
The studio is not responsible for children left unattended before or after class times.

Tuition & Payments

Tuition is due by the 15th of the month.
Tuition is non-refundable for missed classes.

Recital & Performances

Participation in our annual recital is encouraged but not required.
Costume fees are included in your monthly tuition.
Rehearsals and dress rehearsals are mandatory for recital participants.

Communication

Studio updates will be shared through email, newsletters, and our parent portal.
Please make sure we have your correct contact information on file.

Studio Courtesy

No food or drinks in the dance rooms (water only).
Please respect studio property and keep the lobby tidy.
Siblings are welcome in the waiting area but must be supervised at all times.
